Purpose of the flight and payload description

The MAGALT project was a small balloon launch performed at ESRANGE just before the COVID-19 pandemic started. The experiment measured the magnetic field during the balloon ascent using a student-constructed magnetometer measuring at different altitudes. MAGALT was developed by two high-school students from Spyken in Lund, south of Sweden.
