The balloon was launched at 5:46 local time on June 8th 2005 by dynamic method assisted by auxiliary balloon.

After a initial ascent phase the float altitude was achieved without problems. After near 7 hours of flight the separation command was transmited at 13:08 local time.

The landing site was located west of the city of Barra da Corda, Maranhao state. The payload landing coordinates were 5º18'25"S 45º12'59"W and the balloon landing coordinates were 5º16'21"S 44º56'08"W.
