Purpose of the flight and payload description

This was a flight test of a multipurpose waterproof gondola made of FRP (Fiber Reinforced Plastic) which had a wide window allowing an optical instrument to observe the target without obscuration. It can house an instrument as large as 1 meter wide by 0.6 meter deep and 1 meter high (see Figure at left).
